Val Veorthus is a Cabal Blood Guard Centurion of the Imperial Cabal who serves as a commander and one of the Imperial Generals who volunteered to defend the champion of the Cabal, Ignovun, Chosen of Caiatl.

They are slain by a group of Guardians inside the Halphas Electus during the Proving Grounds Strike.

Caiatl's Cabal Triumph

Val Veorthus will occasionally spawn in the second phase of "Redirect the Tank's Power Flow" portion of the strike. They will appear alongside various Scorpius and reinforcements near the second power unit. In some instances they can be replaced by Optus Vocca and because of this multiple play throughs of the strike is recommended to increase the likelihood of encountering Veorthus.

Gameplay

Val Veorthus is a Major Blood Guard Centurion with significant durability and health. They have an additional shield which requires Solar damage to break. Cunqu'us will shoot players with its Bronto Cannon to deal a considerable amount of Void damage. In some instances Veorthus will bring out its sword and charge at the players to deal Void damage. Veorthus is capable of limited flight and will strafe to avoid attacks. It will also unleash a melee in close proximity. Heavy weaponry is recommended to eliminate Veorthus quickly. In rare occasions it is possible to defeat Veorthus by having them fall into the tracks of the Halphas Electus.
