Gallida Tuyet was a Guardian Warlock, a leading weapon's scholar, and the leader of a fireteam named after her.[2] Her research into the Vex lead to the creation of the Pocket Infinity Fusion Rifle.[3]
Biography
During the Great Ahamkara Hunt, Gallida was partnered with Taeko-3 to hunt down Ahamkara on Venus. Before they killed their target, Gallida wished that the creature would take the form of a giant Vex construct and allow her to study it. Her companion quickly grew bored with waiting and called out to her, but Gallida simply lifted a finger to indicate the Exo should wait and requested the Ahamkara show her the rear ventral plate. Once she finished examining the inner workings of the Vex, Gallida informed Taeko that she could proceed and ran clear as her fellow Warlock opened fire on the transformed Ahamkara with a rocket launcher.[4]
Gallida was the last recorded person that Banshee-44 had designed a custom weapon for up to date.[5] She and her fireteam met their end at the hands of the Vex on Venus, having stolen valuable technology from them.[6] All Vanguard scouts found was the dead Ghosts of Tuyet and her fireteam, mysterious Vex cubes that the Vanguard were unable to determine the meaning of, and her custom sidearm broken in half.[7][1] Using her recovered research, and with the help of Banshee-44, Guardians constructed the weapon Pocket Infinity, a Fusion Rifle that somehow used energy from Vex Gates to fire.[8]
