- "These statues depict Queen Devna Tel and her Techeuns, Yara and Imar. Imar is himself noteworthy, as he was a man. There are no prohibitions against men becoming Techeuns - nor against men ruling. It's simply rare."
- — Shuro Chi
Imar was an Awoken Techeun who served as an advisor to Queen Devna Tel. A statue honoring him was built in the Dreaming City that flanked a statue of Queen Tel alongside his fellow Techeun Yara. Imar is notable for being one of the few male Techeuns.[1]
