The Grey Hole, also known as The Pit of light and Dark, is not a regular Black Hole, The Reborn and the Orion Initiative teamed up and was able to form a Black Hole with a White Hole turning it into a Grey Hole which now allows people to go in and out, instead acting like a planet, it acts like a whole different galaxy since not only The Grey Hole is massive but it also contains planets that are being consumed by light and darkness.
