A Primus is the commander of a Cabal Legion, or a high ranking commander within one. According to Cayde-6 this is the equivalent of an "admiral".[1]
Overview
Primuses often are Colossi or Centurions, but are bigger and more powerful than normal Cabal troops,[2] and their loss would cause disorder within a Legion. If a Primus dies, or is rendered unfit, the Cabal Empire will send a replacement via fresh fleets or troops.
Within the echelon of Primus an Evocate General can be appointed, which serves as the Primus of All Legions, acting as the supreme commander to the Cabal Military under only the present Emperor or Dominus.
