The Deceived Hobgoblin is a variant of Taken Hobgoblin seen in The Reckoning Tier 1 when the progress bar for killing enemies reaches 50%. They appear with other Taken Vex units and leads to the summoning of the Counterfeit Hydra. It also appears as a Primeval in either Gambit or Gambit Prime, It resembles Brakion, Genesis Mind.
