"Collect Golden Age sensor mites from our enemies in the Cosmodrome. They're drawn to power, so stronger enemies will contain more."
— Description of the Relic Harvest - Cosmodrome Bounty

Sensor Mites are items obtained from killing Fallen enemies in the Cosmodrome. 200 of them are required for the Vanguard Bounty Relic Harvest - Cosmodrome. Normal enemies will only drop one, while yellow bars such as Reaver Vandals will have 10.

Sensor mites were utilized to monitor the archives of The Last City and could identify individuals within. One sensor mite detected Lavinia Garcia Umr Tawil within the archive in defiance of her mentor Master Rahool's orders. It alerted Rahool before crawling inside her ear and connected to Rahool's comm device, allowing him to begin reprimanding Lavinia.[1]
