Mephisto is a powerful Ahamkara and one of the last surviving members of his species. He dwelled in the gaseous seas of Jupiter for many years since the Great Ahamkara Hunt in order to avoid detection before his existence was uncovered, and as of now is a relatively neutral party in the solar system. Unlike most Ahamkara Mephisto rarely ever uses his powers for malicious purposes. For many years, he masqueraded in the Vanguard's ranks as a Warlock by the name of Mihaly Iglesias.
