Randy, upon receiving orders not to.

Randy's Throwing Knife is a Legendary 260RPM Scout Rifle that can be acquired from Lord Shaxx's weapon quest (Reconnaissance by Fire) in Season of the Undying. It is the Season of the Undying Crucible ritual weapon obtained via a short but tedious quest, with steps that can be completed in any order.

Quest

1 - 450 Scout Rifle final blows in PvP

2 - Earn 2.100 Glory in Competitive PvP

3 - Collect 14,000 kill medals in PvP (Cold Fusion medals count for the most progress)

Perks

  • Rapid-Fire Frame: Deep ammo reserves. Fast reload when empty.
  • Rapid Hit: Rapid precision hits temporarily increase stability and reload speed.
  • Zen Moment: Causing damage with this weapon increases its stability.
  • Snapshot Sights: Faster time to aim down sights.
  • Kill Clip: Reloading after a kill grants increased damage.

Trivia

  • On the scope of the rifle, you can see a silhouette of a helmet resembling that of Lord Shaxx, possibly confirming some of the Crucible handler's real identity.
