| Yächaar appears in the [[Strike]] [[The Corrupted]], paired with Irûn as the Ransacker Ogres. They are encountered halfway through the strike. The Hive Ogre will first fight the fireteam in a room, but the [[Guardian]]s will soon be Castaway to an [[Ascendant Realm]] version of the same area, where the [[Taken]] will appear to fight them alongside large amounts of their fellows. Yächaar quickly targets the closest foe it sees, blasting them with its Eye Blast and getting in melee range to smash them with its Ground Slam. The fireteam will continue to be teleported back and forth until one of the Ogres is dead. If Yächaar dies first, the team will be pulled into the Ascendant Plane for good, and three [[Shrieker]]s will become active alongside Irûn, making standing in the open almost suicidal. Otherwise, the team will be expelled from the Ascendant Plane, and numerous [[Thrall]]s and [[Knight]]s will come to Yächaar's aid.

| In the [[Nightfall]] version of the strike, Yächaarûn is supported by [[Unstoppable Ogre]]s, and the Knights that come to their aid once they're alone become [[Unhallowed Vanquisher]]s.

| ==Trivia==
| |
| *Yächaar is currently the only character in Destiny seen to share the same name with another completely separate character, that being [[Yächaar, Bound to Sedia (Malfeasance)]].
