| According to [[Ahsa]], Xita and the other Worms originated from a "proto-Worm" species that once lived peacefully on Fundament, before they became corrupted by the philosophy of the [[the Witness|Witness]] and began slaughtering one another in order to achieve [[paracausality|paracausal]] supremacy through the [[Sword Logic]]; Xita was presumably either one of these original Worms or one of their descendants. At some point, Xita and her five offspring - [[Eir]], [[Ur]], [[Xol]], [[Yul]] and [[Akka]] - were imprisoned within the depths of [[Fundament]], where they remained for millennia.
