'''Wilhelm-7''' was an [[Exo]] [[Guardian]] and [[Titan (class)|Titan]], who journeyed with his [[Fireteam]] ([[Agadir]] and [[Pershing]]) into the loot cave in the [[Cosmodrome]] and discovered a hoard of [[Engram|Engrams]] and [[Glimmer]]. However, the greed and loot consumed him and his team, causing them to turn against and kill each other. He left a trail of recorded messages in bottles along their path, recounting the events as they transpired.

==Biography==
Wilhelm and his [[Ghost]], [[Bismarck]], came to the Cosmodrome to hunt for loot, along with the [[Titan (class)|Titan]], [[Pershing]]; and the [[Hunter]], [[Agadir]]. While they were searching in the [[Skywatch]], they chased after [[Randal, the Vandal|a certain Vandal]] who led them into the loot cave beneath the area. Although Wilhelm did not tell his teammates that were really lost, Bismarck was becoming suspicious of him. Not long after this, Wilhelm murdered Agadir's Ghost and forced him to haul his excess loot around on a sled he made out of armor from dead Fallen. By day thirty eight of his journey, the Titan had shot himself in the leg to lure out Bismarck. When he appeared to see what was going on, Wilhelm shot and killed his partner right away. ==Personality and Traits==
Wilhelm-7 was always greedy from day one. He was the team leader who brought his fireteam into the mysterious cave in search for a [[Vandal]] that'd take them to a loot-filled cave and refused to listen to his team wanting to leave after four straight days of spelunking. However this avarice of his would quickly balloon into madness as he ventured further into the cave. This madness would soon turn murderous as he'd go on to kill his friend [[Agadir]]'s [[Ghost]], then later Agadir himself, and finally his own Ghost Bismark over paranoid assumptions that they'd backstab him for their own gains.

Once he was by himself Wilhelm-7 would descend into mad ramblings, seeing his friends despite them being long dead, and frantically raving about all the loot he could find as if it was the only thing he could perceive. On the day Captain Avarokk's crew too had discovered the loot cave, he had gone so manic that he sealed himself inside a pod to ensure nothing could get him. But this did not work as he'd die and the [[Icon of Excess]] crystals would consume his body, rooting him to the spot.

*Wilhelm-7 is voiced by [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dee_Bradley_Baker#VA Dee Bradley Baker], who also does [[Variks, the Loyal]]; [[Starhorse]], and [[Savathûn's Worm]]. Outside of ''[[Destiny]]'', Baker is known for his voice work as the [https://www.halopedia.org/Gravemind#Character Gravemind] in the ''[https://www.halopedia.org/Halo#Game Halo]'' franchise.
*Wilhelm-7 is considered a reference to One-Eyed Willy. It makes sense due to the fact that Wilhelm has only 1 eye, similar to Willy. In addition, they both leave booby traps to protect their treasure, which has tainted them both with greed.
*There is a theory that Avarokk's crew did not murder Wilhelm-7. Rather in the final moments of his last recording as he yelled out greedily at the intruders, his avarice fed the Icon of Excess' and they bloomed from his body, killing him.
**This is supported as the pod he died in didn't seem forced open at any point and only opens for the fireteam after Avarokk dies and the dungeon completes.
