| Web Mines are most often found planted into the ground, in a disc shape. They emit a low but distinguishable noise, which can allow an attentive player to detect them. Once a player moves close enough, the mine will release a spherical explosive, which will hover in the air beeping for a moment before detonating. The mine's payload creates a large spherical field that blinds, slows and deafens anyone caught in its radius. Even [[Sparrow]]s are affected, getting stuck in place. The slowing field last for a considerable time, leaving players inside vulnerable and often spelling doom for them. If the mine is shot before it explodes, it is destroyed harmlessly.
