'''Vigilance Wing''' is an [[Exotic]] kinetic [[Pulse Rifle]] in ''[[Destiny 2]]''. It belongs to the slow-firing pulse rifle archetype and is unique in that it has a 5-round burst setting instead of the usual 3-round burst. Its main trait, Harsh Truths, increases movement speed and health regeneration when a fireteam member is killed nearby. Its secondary trait, Last Stand, provides improved weapon performance and greatly increased recovery when the wielder is the last Guardian standing on their team. The buff provided when the last Guardian standing may be the difference between winning or losing.

==Gameplay==
Due to this weapon's 5-round burst, Vigilance Wing can be very effective in taking down high health enemies in PvE and players in the [[Crucible|Crucible.]] When used within Crucible, it is advised to stick near other players when using Vigilance Wing. If they are to die close to you (approximately 24 meters), their passing will start your health regeneration, and boost your mobility (overall movement speed increase, 6.25% increased sprint speed and 33% increased slide distance for 6 seconds) via Harsh Truths. This can allow you to begin retreating to recover, or apply pressure to the enemy who took your ally down. Furthermore, usage in low player count modes such as Trials of Osiris means the Last Stand trait can begin shining. When you are the last Guardian standing for your team, your Recovery is boosted by 100, you are granted an increase in weapon handling and provided with +30 reload speed to Vigilance Wing.
