'''The Gateway''' is the seventeenth [[story]] mission of [[Destiny 2]], and the first mission of the [[Curse of Osiris]] expansion. It's set on the planet [[Mercury]], with[[The Guardian]] being tasked by [[Ikora Rey]] to investigate the gate near the [[Lighthouse]], because [[Sagira]]'s shell was found at it. [[Brother Vance]] will make contact with the [[Guardian]] to help him find [[Osiris]].

During the course of The Gateway, [[The Guardian|the Guardian]] must confront the [[Vex]] at the [[Fields of Glass]] on [[Mercury]], culminating in an encounter with the portal to the [[Infinite Forest]], and [[Vex]] of both the past and future.
