'''The Gateway''' is the first [[story]] mission of the [[Curse of Osiris]] expansion. It's set on the planet [[Mercury]], with [[The Guardian]] being tasked by [[Ikora Rey]] to investigate the gate near the [[Lighthouse]], because [[Sagira]]'s shell was found at it. [[Brother Vance]] will make contact with the [[Guardian]] to help him find [[Osiris]].

During the course of The Gateway, the Guardian must confront the [[Vex]] at the [[Fields of Glass]] on Mercury, culminating in an encounter with the portal to the [[Infinite Forest]], and [[Vex]] of both the past and future.

''Osiris begins to walk down some stairs and into the frozen battle.''

''Osiris takes out a device consisting of three cubes with symbols on them, and begins twisting them.''

''Sagira moves over to a Goblin and tilts its [[Slap Rifle]] into the air as Osiris opens a triangular portal. Osiris stares intently into the portal.''

''Osiris closes the portal and starts quickly walking back through the battle, which is still frozen.''

*'''Sagira''': W-What did you see? Slow down.

''Sagira notifies that the Minotaur has moved back to its original position.''

''All the Vex immediate unfreeze and start shooting at Osiris and Sagira, despite the team of guardians still being frozen. Osiris produces a weapon and begins to shoot the Vex.''
