| :::::Dante is correct. The word lieutenant is not a rank though it is used in the army as such. It is merely a word denoting a status of leadership within a hierarchy. In the case of the Hive, it simply means someone who acts or leads in the place of another, or for another. Further, the quote from Eris Morn in this Grimoire Card proves our point. if the Hive have no Hierarchy, how can they have "generals"? 14:33, 29 November 2016 (EST) | | :::::Dante is correct. Plus as the Ghost pointed out, they are referred to as lieutenants in World Events. 14:33, 29 November 2016 (EST) |

| == Do the following count as Hive-themed Guardian Weapons? ==
| |
| | |
| 1. Crown of Sorrow Raid weapons and Mindbender's Ambition with the common factor being they have Hive runes etched onto their casing. (Runes were confirmed to containing Hive Magic in
| |
| Season of the Witch)
| |
| | |
| 2. Moon Destination weapons from Shadowkeep and seasonal weapons from Season of the Haunted and Season of the Witch having been crafted using Hive magic like the Cryptoglyph by Eris Morn herself.

| == Are the Hive a Race or Species? ==
| |
| | |
| They were originally known as Krill prior to their Worm parasitism. Kuato, Didactic Mind 17:48, September 16, 2024 (EDT)

| The Hive are the Krill, it’s nothing like the Fallen turning into Scorn or even the Taken. Others can be turned into Hive but can also be reversed, like Eris. The Hive themselves are not to be considered a race/subspecies, or even vice versa, especially since it’s going by the logic of what’s seen on the species page. 17:57, September 16, 2024 (EDT)

| | |
| What about non-Hive Krill outliers like the Osmium King or Taox or even Helium Drinkers? How could we differ between the Hive and the Krill when they exist retroactively? Kuato, Didactic Mind 18:15, September 16, 2024 (EDT)

| | |
| Any remaining Krill would be dead or turned into Hive. And that is exactly why Krill is another name for the Hive, why Krill links to the Hive page, and why it is listed under other names for the Hive. Dude, whatever you’re trying to start, just don’t. 18:25, September 16, 2024 (EDT)

| == Hive Instruments ==
| |
| | |
| I was curious on as to whether or not there are Hive/Krill musical instruments that are ever mentioned in the lore 81.103.87.201 11:09, September 19, 2024 (EDT)

| None that I have heard about, unfortunately. -- 12:41, September 19, 2024 (EDT)
