Biography
Biography
During the events of Lightfall, Ha'ruk was assigned to a Carrier in the orbit of Neptune. Her commander was immensely devoted to Calus, though Ha'ruk could never tell if he was just a Loyalist of the Emperor or a clone programmed to be loyal. Regardless, even after the deaths of both Calus and the Witness, her commander would continue to command the Carrier in Calus' name. Ha'ruk and many of the crew weren't as dedicated and had been forced to follow their commander's orders under threat of death.
Felinq and Harrox had been Psions of the Shadow Legion who had joined the Witness in the Pale Heart of the Traveler. There, they would be transformed into Dread; Felinq would become a Weaver, and Harrox would become an Attendant.

Months after the events in the Pale Heart, the Carrier would be ambushed by Dune Raider forces led by Primus Lau'urc. Ha'ruk was among the forces that confronted the invaders in the ship's hangar. However, rather than attacking, Lau'urc questioned why they fought for a "dead god" and offered them the chance to join the Dune Raiders. Unconvinced by Lau'urc's words, Ha'ruk's commander drew his weapon and declared she and her Dune Raiders deserved death for their transgressions against Calus. However, Ha'ruk and the rest of the crew would instead shoot their commander in the back and swear their loyalty to Lau'urc.
Following the Witness's destruction, the two reformed Psions and other Dread would become part of a crew led by a Subjugator. While Felinq and Marrox were doubtful of the Witness's goals, their Subjugator commander remained immensely loyal to its ideal of the Final Shape. Eventually, they would be brought under the thrall of the Shadow Legion.

Around a year after, the Dread crew would be stationed in a Shadow Legion base that would come under attack by Dune Raider forces led by Primus Lau'urc. The Dread would confront them, but instead of attacking, Lau'urc questioned why they fought for a "dead god" and offered them the chance to join the Dune Raiders, stating that she understood the Dread, how they had minds of their own and couldn't only blindly follow orders like the Taken or a Shadow Legion clone. While Felinq, Harrox and the other Weavers and Attendants seemed convinced, their Sunjugator commander remained unconvinced and drew her weapon, declaring she and her Dune Raiders deserved death for their transgressions against the Witness. However, Felinq, Harrox and the rest of the crew would instead shoot their commander in the back and swear their loyalty to Lau'urc.
