| ==Gameplay==
| |
| The Shock Blade is a deadly melee weapon wielded in pairs. They can often be found in the hands of Captains, who will use their resilience and teleporting abilities to get into close combat range of foes, and corner them with quick, lethal slices. Many Stealth Vandals and Marauders wield these weapons as well, and use their invisibility to flank and simultaneously jump on targets in a group.
| |
| | |
| The Taken also have their own version, which works the same, even retaining the Arc damage type. It is only found in the hands of Taken Captains, who use their Darkness Bolt to blind the enemy, then run into melee range to attack their disoriented foes.

| ==Trivia==
| |
| *Shock Blades are one of the few weapons to not change energy type after being Taken.
| |
| *In Destiny, Captains and Major Vandals wield their blades upright, while Stealth Captains and Minor Vandals wield the left one in reverse grip.
