The Scorch Cannon is a relic weapon found in the House of Wolves expansion. The Scorch Cannon acts as a Solar-damage rocket launcher with ten rounds. Holding down the trigger converts the rockets into sticky bombs, which become more powerful with time. An unprimed explosion will kill most weaker enemies. A fully primed bomb will kill a shielded Major, but not an Ultra. The bombs will stick to both surfaces and enemies.

Overview
The Scorch Cannon uses a compressed Solar "furnace" to focus and direct superheated rods of solar energy. Each burst is mapped to the Cannon's firing matrix, allowing the wielder to hold a fired rod's charge. Release of the firing actuator triggers detonation. The longer the actuator is held the greater the rod's explosive impact.
The Scorch Cannon acts as a Solar-damage rocket launcher. Holding down the trigger lets the projectile stick to surfaces and enemies, and gradually charges the explosion to become more powerful the longer the trigger is held. A sound cue allows the user to keep track of the charge of the explosion, alongside the projectile gaining an increasingly unstable aura. An unprimed explosion will kill most weaker enemies in usual content. A fully primed bomb cam even kill a shielded Major, but is usually not enough to kill an Ultra. The cannon can be found in the hands of enemies, but is often dropped by its wielders, allowing nearby Guardians to use it.

The Devil Splicers developed two variants of the Scorch Cannon, the Shock Cannon and the Null Cannon.

*A rare glitch would occur where the Scorch Cannon will hover above the players head if they were to pick up the Scorch Cannon.
*In the Oracle Engine mission, Scorch Cannons are found near the corpses of Scorn, though no living Scorn have ever been seen wielding it.
