He served his [[Prime Servitor]], [[Sepiks Prime]] and was a key leader for the Devils in the [[Cosmodrome]] regions of [[Old Russia]]. Following the death of [[Solkis, Devil Kell]], the [[House of Devils]] established a stronghold within the Cosmodrome of Russia. Their dominance was uncontested for centuries until a newly risen [[Guardian]] rose to challenge them. Riksis attempts to challenge the Guardians by [[Dock 13]], however they quickly escape with a [[Jumpship]]. Later, Riksis engages into battle against the Guardian as they try to secure the [[NLS Drive]]. He summons reinforcements to tackle the Guardians and shoots them with his [[Shrapnel Launcher]], however is defeated by them.

Riksis serves as the boss in the [[Restoration]] [[story mission]]. He is armed with a Shrapnel Launcher for ranged combat, and has higher health and attack strength than normal Fallen, and drops an [[NLS Drive]].<ref name="E3 2013 Demo">[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXTXPe7JIUk '''YouTube''': ''E3 2013 Destiny Gameplay Demo'']</ref> It is recommended that [[Guardians]] keep their distance from him, as once stirred he is unpredictably elusive and quick with a wave of power called the "Ultra Smash"<ref name="Gameplay commentary">[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3G3V5PCJbk '''YouTube''': ''Building the Destiny E3 Reveal - Bungie Commentary'']</ref>, an extremely powerful area-of-effect melee attack that causes Guardians to suffer significant damage as well as tremendous knockback, unless the attack kills them instantly, in which it often does. He will also get support from other Fallen, as they will continuously drop from the ceiling after each wave of adds is killed. Guardians should use their class abilities such as grenades and Supers when fighting him, or just avoid him if they want to wait for a later battle. <ref name = "Transcript"/>

*He was called "Rixis, Archon Slayer" in early builds.  <ref name = "Transcript"/>He originally appeared inside [[The Breach]] before being moved to the Restoration mission.<ref name = "E3 2013 Demo"/>

*During the Destiny demo presentation, upon killing Riksis, Archon Slayer, the player was rewarded with the weapon [[Thunderlord]].

*In the Destiny demo presentation, Riksis was fought inside the Breach but was moved to the Ship wreckage in the full game. [[Karrhis, Archon Rising]] replaced him inside The Breach in an "eliminate the target" mission in [[The Taken King]].

*Riksis's model is commonly used in most [[Ultra]] [[Fallen]] enemies later in [[Destiny]].

*Riksis will first appear as a [[Ultra]], however will become a [[Major]] if players have a high Light level.

*In Destiny 2: New Light, there is a Fallen leader, that wear the same armor of Riksis, but it is unknown if it is Riksis, or another Dusk leader.
