==Gameplay==
Ransacker Phalanxes appear in the [[Strike]] [[The Corrupted]], in the elevator encounter. A pair of [[Minor]]s will accompany [[Val Talacanth, Bound to Sedia]], when they first appear to confront the firetam. A second [[Elite]] pair will be alongside [[Orm Duluz, Bound to Sedia]], and they will also have the special Awoken Shield of their ward. This shield can only be broken by throwing an Awoken Relic at it, and will be detonated like an [[Absorption Shield]] if the relic was first thrown to another player. In all cases, players should be wary of their shield blasts, which can easily blow them off the elevator and into the bottomless pit below, or in the line of fire of other enemies.

During [[Nightfall]]s, the first pair of Ransackers will become shielded Elites, while the second pair will be replaced by two [[Major]] Taken Phalanxes named [[Val Prosk, Bound to Sedia]] and [[Val Gruuk, Bound to Sedia]].
