Before the fateful [[Battle of Saturn]], Nascia participated in a rare meeting with the Coven, discussing what to do about [[Oryx, the Taken King]]. Nascia did not allow fear to get in her way, a result of her Techeun training.<ref name="Coven"/>

Sometime after the Battle of Saturn, she, [[Illyn]], [[Portia]] and [[Lissyl]] would study the power of the Taken and how to control it. During one such session, Illyn inadvertently attracted [[Riven]] to their location who presumably killed them all.<ref name="Illyn" /><ref name="Bench"/>
