'''Jaren Ward''' was a [[Hunter]] and happened to be one of the many guardians who owned Tex Mechanica’s famous weapon, [[The Last Word]] (FWI T.M. creates many of the same weapons NOT custom weapons, so The Last Word Hand cannon is not really special but just happed to be special because of its owner.) He who scouted the frontier of [[Earth]] and became the defender of the refugee village [[Palamon]], and later adopted [[Shin Malphur]] after the boy's first adopted father was killed in [[Dredgen Yor]]'s massacre of the village. Jaren was killed by Yor when he attempted to hunt him down and end the mad [[Guardian]]'s reign of terror.
