Shortly after her arrival, Ikora would crash-land at the Blooming, a location that strongly resembles the Cradle on Io. She would attempt to reach out to both the Guardian and Zavala through the Comms, but to no avail. Eventually, Ikora would be spoken to by the Witness, who would attempt to sway the Warlock Vanguard to its side by promising her an eternal victory in the Final Shape. However, Ikora would once again prove resilient, refusing the Witness's offer. Due to feeling an impulse, Ikora would mediate at this location with the desire to commune with the Traveler. Prior to beginning her meditation, Ikora would leave behind a message for Zavala and the Guardian at her ship telling them to meet with her at the Cradle. Eventually, during her mediation, Ikora would be found by the Guardian, who had succeeded in reuniting with Crow and the newly-resurrected Cayde-6. Awakening from her meditation, Ikora would thank the Guardian before revealing that she could hear the Traveler screaming for help. Due to the Witness infecting the Traveler and Darkness being combined with Light, Ikora would come to the realization that the Pale Heart was a place where their memories are physically manifested by the Light. Furthermore, Ikora would discern that the Witness's desire for the Final Shape was to calcify reality into a perfect stillness by weaponizing the Light. Finally, Ikora would come to the conclusion that if the Light was powerful enough to destroy the universe, it is powerful enough to destroy the Witness.

Returning to camp alongside the Guardian, Ikora is then greeted by Cayde, who asks for her forgiveness. However, Ikora would express her frustration with Cayde's irresponsibility as it forced her and Zavala to shoulder all the responsibilities. Recognizing his mistakes, Cayde would acknowledge that he made incautious decisions and promises to make it up to her. Thankful for her friend's return, Ikora would embrace Cayde, with the Hunter Vanguard remarking that he always knew she was fond of him. Ikora would remind him that he still has much to make up for before they both transmatted away. Later, Ikora would speak with Cayde about his return and would come to the conclusion that he was resurrected by the Traveler. She would also ask him about what he saw after his final death, with Cayde revealing that he existed in a peaceful nothingness where he was one with the Traveler. With most of the fireteam reunited, Ikora would send the Guardian to locate Zavala. As the Guardian defeated House of Salvation forces, they would commune with a Veiled Statue which they would briefly hear sobbing. Ikora would recognize the statue, with Ghost remarking that they had encountered them during their journeys to the Moon, Europa, and the Black Garden. When Cayde would ask her what eulogy Zavala gave at his funeral, Ikora disclosed that the Titan Vanguard refused to even leave his office. Eventually the Guardian successfully locates Zavala and his Ghost, Targe finding them at the Seclusion and assisting them in fending of the Witness's forces. As Zavala entered his home to say goodbye to his family, Ikora would bring him back to reality when he became frightened upon touching the hand of Safiyah's diorama. Ikora would state to Zavala that the Witness only showed them what it thinks they desire, with Zavala responding by reminding her that the Traveler has never shown him anything.
