Ikora asked the Guardian to investigate an anomaly beneath the Spire, which she said Eris believed was a ritual chamber. As the Guardian began defeating hostiles in the newfound Altars of Summoning, Ikora questioned where they were coming from. Immaru wasn't sure, and commented that they don't really care anyway. Afterwards, Ikora shared her discomfort with Eris's new plan, and how she became disturbed watching Eris and the Guardian revel in violence.

In the H.E.L.M. she conferred with the Guardian, sharing that she felt that Eris's transformation was her fault. While she was gathering Intel and debating in the Tower, Eris threw herself into danger, and admitted that she was right. She acknowledged that they need to pursue the Witness at any cost, but didn't think it could be Eris. She informed them that despite the transformation, she remains herself, and yet she is beginning to hear whispers from the Deep. She encourages the Guardian to support Eris, and try to keep her metamorphosis as brief as possible.

Later as the Guardian began clearing the Spire again, Eris Morn pointed out that it had become infested with Xivu Arath's brood. Immaru and Ikora would both note that they could hear Xivu in their heads. Xivu Arath began stating her victories, and Ikora asked what she was doing, and Eris informed her that she had issued a challenge. After clearing the Spire, Ikora told Eris that they needed to rethink their plan, as Xivu would keep coming back. Eris declared they had to press on, and Ikora exclaimed that they couldn't fight her. Ikora stated that she didn't like her plan again, and Eris said she didn't need to.
