Before the final battle, the Guardians made endeavors to heal the Traveler and in thwarting the Witness's servants from gaining strength. The House of Salvation, for instance, began an operation to harvest the Traveler's Light directly from the Pale Heart. Ikora and Mithrax noticed the Salvation Fallen's movements and engaged to prevent them from succeeding. Most importantly to Mithrax, the operation was being led by Korha, the Hollow, a former member of the House of Winter who had risen to be Eramis's Right Hand during the conflict on Seraph Station and killed Mithrax's mother, Inaaks, when he was still young. Furious at the sight of his mother's killer, Mithrax joins the Guardian in disrupting Korha's operations by destroying the harvesting rigs before following Korha to Europa. Despite engaging Korha directly, the former Winter Fallen seemed incapable of saying anything to Mithrax, leading Ikora to believe that Korha's consciousness had been consumed by the Witness like many of its other servants. Nonetheless, the Guardian and Mithrax were able to defeat Korha before he was crushed by a House of Light Brig. Though slightly disappointed that he couldn't exchange some last words with Korha, Mithrax was nonetheless pleased that they disrupted his operations within the Traveler and had avenged Inaaks.
