Harrowing Pariahs are powerful Ogres seen in the Pit of Heresy Dungeon. The Pariahs are massive, discolored monsters covered in spikes, both natural and implanted, so old that cobwebs have grown upon them. The Pariahs roam the tunnels of the Pit, keeping watch over both the Ritual happening beyond, the witch that hides within, and many other secrets.
Harrowing Pariahs are powerful and massive Ogres seen in the Tunnels of Despair encounter, where they roam the tunnels, remaining vigilant over the Ritual of Suffering beyond the arching catacombs and attempt to keep out the Guardian intruders.

Gameplay
The Harrowing Pariahs are encountered in the Tunnels of Despair encounter. These massive Ogres are incredibly aggressive and, most importantly, invulnerable to all damage. They have to be avoided by sliding within the many openings of the Tunnels, where players have to seek Heretical Knights for their Void charges. The charges have to be deposited in spots fully open to the Pariahs, so it is recommended to have them distracted elsewhere before venturing out.

Trivia
Trivia
*The Pariahs bear a striking resemblance to Nur Abath, Crest of Xol and Asbel, Far from Home, except that Pariahs have spider cobwebs and nails used by the Hidden Swarm instead of ice that encrust a majority of the Grasp of Nokris.
*The Pariahs bear a striking resemblance to Nur Abath, Crest of Xol and Asbel, Far from Home, except that Pariahs have spider cobwebs and nails used by the Hidden Swarm instead of ice that encrust a majority of the Grasp of Nokris.
*The Pariah encounter in Pit of Heresy has been compared to the Gorgons encounter in the Vault of Glass Raid, due to the similar principle of avoiding nearly or completely unkillable enemies in a maze-like area
*They are entirely immune to damage and cannot be killed; the only way to survive them is to avoid them.

**They are the only truly unkillable enemies to be featured in the Pit of Heresy.
