'''The Deimian Pyramid''' (also known as '''Insolation''') is a [[Pyramid]] of the [[Black Fleet]] left abandoned on the moon of [[Mars]], '''Deimos''' at some unknown point prior to the arrival of Anziluu, the Ravenous and his Hive cult on the Martian moon. 

==Overview and Layout==
Much like the other Pyramids, the Deimian Pyramid's hull is covered in segmented panels that vary in pattern, with some having vertical lines and others with patterns resembling circuitry. The surface of the Pyramid appears to be composed of some form of rock-like material, occasionally having an uneven or chiseled appearance, giving the ship an almost handcrafted quality. 

The interior of the Deimian Pyramid consists of a vast and open space with large constructs, appearing like an interior city. The halls and doors appear to be built for larger individuals, allowing larger entities like [[Ultras]], [[Ogre]]s, [[Hydra]]s, [[Abomination]]s and even [[Brig]]s to move through with ease. It is also littered with various artifacts, marble-like statues, calcified creatures like Cabal, Fallen, Hive and various other species suspended in animation.

==History==
When Anziluu made his first observations on the Deimian Pyramid, he claimed that it had arrived on Deimos long before the events of the Collapse. He would also state that it had landed and later abandoned rather than crash and its systems malfunction. 

When Anziluu and his Hive arrived on Deimos, they began their excavations in order to turn the moon into a breeding ground and into his own [[War moon]]. The terraforming of Deimos would inadvertently reactivate its internal systems, allowing the Hive to locate it more easily. After locating the Pyramid, Anziluu would have his Hive build a structure around the Pyramid, similar to that of the Lunar [[Hellmouth]] but with a large dome covering the excavation hole.
