'''Talan, Enduring Shield''' is a [[Blood Guard Legionary]] seen in the [[Forum:Takedown on the Almighty|Red Legion Takedown]]. One of the three guards tasked with holding the starboard quadrant aboard the Almighty, he and his fellow guardsmen are first seen holding off a [[Vex]] incursion headed by [[Forum:The Vindictive Mind|the Vindictive Mind]]. After facing severe opposition from the [[Axis Mind]], Talan would call for reinforcements to deal with the Vex threat, which would, inadvertently help to deal with the [[Guardian]] intruders. Depending on the Guardian's response to the guards, he can either be killed in the field or allowed to escape and find his way into a Goliath Tank, only to meet his inevitable end.
