Meanwhile, the forces who remained loyal to Maleficent, including [[Forum:Dio Brando|DIO]]'s army of zombies, would also attempt to kill Mal and revert the timeline back to its original form; however, though all of them would be slain by the Shadow Army, most would eventually mutate into the Ghosts of Nagasaki while the others would become Taken, effectively bringing an end to the existence of the Overtakers.
