Malefor, The Sky Eater is a Disciple of the Witness. Once a powerful Ancient Black Dragon, he sought power and nearly killed his adoptive daughter in the process, however he was believed destroyed in a moment that is under intense scrutiny as it is believed Cynder killed both Malefor and their Dad. But Malefor knows differently. Malefor used Cynder to kill Ignitus, Cynder's Bronze Dragon Father, before the young child's rage and power was turned against him and nearly resulted in his demise. Malefor however survived the encounter and eventually came into contact with The Witness and was granted new purpose and power. Years after Cynder's demise, Malefor would resurface now as a Disciple of the Witness working to bring about the Final Shape.
