Malok, Pride of Oryx stood before his uncle’s most powerful Taken. Other than himself of course.
Malik was superior to all Taken, hence why the Throne would soon be his. There were not many left, only Quria, Sekrion, Subverted Mind, and several Echos of Oryx. However, Malok had a plan. He knew of a Fallen House planning to hire a mercenary to intercept a cargo frigate headed to the Prison of Elders. However, Malok would be there first. His forces of Taken would arrive on the frigate and quietly turn Nixis, a Fallen Archon into Taken and await for him to be brought by the mercenaries to Venus. Hence where he and the other fallen prisoners which they would also turn to taken would establish a foothold on Venus, simultaneously ruining most of the Fallen there. Meanwhile, he would allow Quria into the vex network to cause havoc. Meanwhile, Sekrion was deployed to Venus to await once Nixis’ mission had been complete. Malok’s plan was all coming together. Now, he merely needed to take the power and use the Blights. However, his mother and aunt’s watchful eye never left him. He didn’t need to see or feel it to know it was there. Good. Let them watch. Let them watch him become the next Taken King.

Following Orders
EXCLUSION ZONE
0500 HOURS
The Harvester landed behind the massive wall of the Exclusion Zone, refueling and refilling with supplies instead of troops. The two Psion pilots stepped out, one wiping sweat from his brow. The Centurion at the head of the group stepped out and walked into the facility at the landing field. Once inside and the pressurized door shut, he took off his helmet. “Dear Calus, I’m glad we have this ventilated.” A legionary at the head desk stared at him. “Don’t use his name anymore. We should just forget about that slug, he’s probably rotting away in space.” The Centurion sighed. “My bad. So, I have orders here for refueling.” He handed the Legionary a data pad. “Hmmm. Alright your good to go, I’ll have the grunts on it shortly.” He said, tapping into an intercom and calling some soldiers up for refueling. As the Centurion waited, the troops came up a set of stairs leading to a bunker. They passed by him and into the landing pad outside. “So, how’s work been?” The Centurion made small talk. “Fine, though all of the Skyburners are heading out.” The Centurion’s eyes widened. “ALL?” He asked, shocked. “All. Orders from the emperor themself. They’re supposed to siege that Dreadnaught ship.” The Centurion cursed, “I have a sibling in that Legion. Damn it.” He slammed his fist onto the table. “Yeah don’t ask me-“ he was cut off by loud sirens. “Another attack.” The legionary cursed under his breath, grabbing his slug rifle from next to him. He turned to another legionary who grabbed his rifle and ran out. “Follow me.” The Centurion met with his two psions. TBC
