Sometime during the return of the [[Black Fleet]] within the [[Sol System]], Kaksis would rise up as the current Archon of the House of Dusk. He would lead his scavenging crews on Titan to plunder the [[Pyramid]] [[Pyramid Scale|Scales]] for [[Darkness]] in order to reinforce his forces with the resonating power. Despite the opposition from the [[Guardian]]s, [[Hive]], [[Taken]] and the losses that House Dusk would suffer, Kaksis was able to understand something about the Darkness and that there was a [[The Witness|voice]] speaking from within the depths.
Following the disappearance of [[Mercury]], [[Mars]], [[Io]] and [[Titan]], Kaksis would send his covert of the House of Dusk to investigate further of sources of Darkness. Lured to the edges of the Kuiper Belt by an unknown surge of energy on their [[Ketch]], it would eventually be shot down by the weapons of the [[Forum:The Nephilim|Nephilim]], the [[Tomb Carrier]] of [[Forum:Shin'ra, the Sorrow-Maker|Shin'ra, the Sorrow-Maker]]. A majority of the Ketch's crew however would survive its destruction through [[Skiff]]s, which in turn would crash onto the Nephilim's [[Forum:Dread Harbor|docking bay]].
As his forces would investigate the ship, Kaksis had the suspicion that the Hive lured them to the Nephilim, wanting them to find the unknown power within the ship. Kaksis would have his covert to carve a [[Forum:Breakwater|tunnel system]] from the Dread Harbor and eventually build a [[Forum:Dusk's Rest|lair]] for himself.
