'''Deimos''' is the smaller of the two natural satellites of [[Mars]]. It can be seen in the sky above [[Meridian Bay]] opposite [[Phobos]].

==Overview==
Deimos had been under the control of the many enemies of humanity. While the Vanguard believed that the [[Cabal]] [[Forum:Star Blazers|Star Blazers]] were the first to be discovered, it was originally under the control of the [[Forum:Cult of Anziluu|Cult]] of [[Forum:Anziluu, the Ravenous|Anziluu]] many centuries ago either during the [[Collapse]] or [[Dark Age]].

Prior to the [[Taken War]], the Cabal's Star Blazers would eventually make their claim of Deimos, building a [[Forum:Fleetbase Alexandria|Fleetbase]] as a strategic base of operations. However, the base would be abandoned following the [[Forum:Siege on Mars|Siege on Mars]] and was entrenched by the [[Fallen]] [[Forum:House of Storm|House of Storm]] during their arrival and was an important part of [[Forum:Tikmiks' Revolt|Tikmiks' Revolt]] as it served the final stand of the Storms as the Lions captured [[Forum:Tikmiks, Archon Priest|Tikmiks, Archon Priest]], leaving the base abandoned once again.

Traditionalists of the House of Storms under the command of [[Forum:Zavriks|Zavriks, Storm's Rebellion]], would lay siege to the moon once more to claim it as Storm territory. After the events of [[Forum:Season of Storms|Zavriks' Rebellion]], the Storms would again abandon Deimos and their claim for it. 

When it came to the time of the [[Forum:Veil of Deimos (event)|Veil of Deimos]], the Hive of the Cult of Anziluu arose to the surface of Deimos and began to tear it and the underground portions in between the material and [[Forum:Fanfic Throne Worlds|Ascendant Plane]] to evade the forces of the [[Forum:Golden Legion|Golden Legion]] Cabal. 

Guardians would venture to Deimos to investigate the disturbance with the massive amount of spattering neutrinos. Under the guidance of [[Toland, the Shattered|Toland]], they would understand the truth of what was occurring on Deimos and the threat that the Imperial Down posed.
