| Deimos had been under the control of the many enemies of humanity. While the Vanguard believed that the [[Cabal]] [[Forum:Star Blazers|Star Blazers]] were the first to be discovered, it was originally under the control of the [[Forum:Cult of Anziluu|Cult]] of [[Forum:Anziluu, the Ravenous|Anziluu]] many centuries ago either during the [[Collapse]] or [[Dark Age]]. Their forces would come into contact with an unknown Cabal legion, which invaded Deimos and constructed a [[Forum:Firebase Demeter|Firebase]] on its surface. After years of struggle, the Cabal legion would abandon Deimos with their existence being stripped from existence by Anziluu through the use of the Weave of Fate.

| Prior to the [[Taken War]], the Cabal's Star Blazers would eventually make their claim of Deimos, building a [[Forum:Fleetbase Alexandria|Fleetbase]] as a strategic base of operations. However, the base would be abandoned following the [[Forum:Siege on Mars|Siege on Mars]] and was entrenched by the [[Fallen]] [[Forum:House of Storm|House of Storm]] during their arrival and was an important part of [[Forum:Tikmiks' Revolt|Tikmiks' Revolt]] as it served the final stand of the Storms as the Lions captured [[Forum:Tikmiks, Archon Priest|Tikmiks, Archon Priest]], leaving the base abandoned once again.
