Much like [[Fallen]] [[Captain]]s and their minor counterparts, they will lead their allies from the back-lines, raining down their heavier arsenal upon their enemies while occasionally charging them down for a powerful melee attack. Unlike their other counterparts, however, they have access to every totem their lesser counterparts have to offer. Once enough health is lost, the Chieftain will conjure a dome of protective [[Dark Ether]] that blocks out normal gunfire while slowly mending the priest(ess)'s wounds before returning to battle, while still capable of firing their weaponry at any ambitious Guardian. To mitigate the threat of the Chieftain, a Guardian should utilize Anti-Barrier rounds obtainable from the Seasonal Artifact against the Chieftain and their shield to penetrate it and briefly stagger the twisted Chieftain.
