| Despite the rupture in their relationship, Eido continued to assist her father and the Guardian in their search for the artifacts of Nezarec. While searching a [[Pirate Hideouts|Pirate Hideout]] teeming with [[Lucent Brood|Lucent Hive]] for the last artifact, Eido attempted to retrieve the artifact without using violence, in an attempt to show Eramis the futility of the path she was going down. Though Eido managed to grab the artifact, she left herself at the mercy of the Lucent Hive, and was only saved by the intervention of Eramis. Mithrax (accompanied by the Guardian) entered the room not long after, and (against the protests of Eido) began dueling the Shipstealer.
