The '''Cabal Severus''' is a traditional [[Cabal]] weapon. While mostly used for ceremonial purposes, [[Gladiator]] troopers wield pairs of these cleavers to great effect.

==Overview==
Gladiators will attempt to cut up [[Guardian]]s with these blades. They are dual-wielded and Solar-powered, enabling them to inflict serious pain with every strike.

The [[Ceremonial Bather]]s of the [[Loyalists]] possess a different version of the weapon, more similar to an axe, but with the same characteristics.

[[Emperor Calus|Calus, the Disciple]] splits his weapon into two Severi imbued with the resonant energy common to the [[Disciples of the Witness]] during the second phase the fight against him in [[Desperate Measures]].

==Trivia==
*This is the second sword used by common enemy troops against [[Guardian]]s.
*[[Dominus Ghaul]]'s Solar Slicer attack uses Severi as his equivalent of the Dawnblade sword.
*During the [[Destiny 2 Beta]], the Severus inflicted burn along with its devastating damage.
*Various Severi can be seen inside the [[Halphas Electus]], littered in the floor during the fight with [[Ignovun, Chosen of Caiatl]].
**A long-hafted version of the weapon is also present in among these.
