| The Headhunter is a very long range [[Solar]] rifle, similar to the [[Vex]] [[Line Rifle]]. A user must aim the weapon for a while, with a visible red laser pointer to aid in target acquisition. The rifle must be charged for a second before shooting, emitting a distinct sound. The projectile is very fast and highly damaging, but a quick target is cabable of dodging it. It is commonly found in the hands of [[Psion]]s of all ranks, who take pot shots and quickly find cover or reposition themselves. Rarely, it is wielded by high ranking [[Legionary|Legionaries]], who stay more exposed, but can take greater punishment and loose a shot even as they are being fired upon.
