Bounties can be acquired from Tower vendors, such as Commander Zavala, Lord Shaxx, or Banshee-44, or they can be acquired from Planetary vendors, Such as Devrim Kay in the EDZ, or Ana Bray in Mars. Additional bounty sources include the Visage of Calus, Seasonal Vendors (e.g. Rasputin for Season of the Worthy), and others. Bounties usually come in 3 types: Weekly, daily, and repeatable. Weekly bounties take longer to complete and have greater rewards, such as 200 Bright Dust. They refresh each week. Daily bounties refresh every day and are easier to complete. Repeatable bounties can be acquired multiples times each day and drop a small amount of Bright Dust. Some weekly bounties, such as ones acquired from the Drifter, have Legendary Gear as a reward. All bounties reward XP. Bounties are seen as one of the faster ways to level up the season pass, and for most people, the only way to reach max rank. Bungie states that it will change XP mechanic in the Future so that bounties are not the only reliable source of XP.<ref>[https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/48993 '''Bungie.net'''-'''THIS WEEK AT BUNGIE – 4/30/2020''']</ref>
