* '''Sagira''':  I know I can do it. Osiris is in there protecting the rest of us from the Vex. He needs us. He needs ME. And we're going to find him.

''The Guardian enters the gateway to the Infinite Forest on Mercury.''

* '''Sagira''':  Osiris has adapted some of the technology of the Forest for his own purposes. We're going to run into his Reflections. They're copies -- of himself. Made so he can explore multiple pathways at once. And yes, I am aware that it makes Osiris sound like an egomaniac. But don't worry. He is.

''Sagira sounds pleased with  this. The Guardian comes across a Vex platform which begins to glow, breaking a construct shield. Once the construct is destroyed, a beam of light appears.'' 

* '''Sagira''': Osiris has to be here somewhere.

''A Reflection of Osiris appears, pulsating yellow light.''

* '''Osiris' Reflection''': Sagira! You shouldn't be here. And you brought someone new with you.

''A path appears for the Guardian. There are many Reflections of Osiris here; splitting apart, speaking to one another.''

''Many of the Reflections shudder and run, vanishing into thin air. Still the Guardian can hear Osiris' voice.''

''The Guardian continues to race along the curved pathways, deeper into the Forest.''

They approach a circle of Reflections.

* '''Osiris' Reflection''': You cannot go to him, Sagira.

* '''Sagira''': WHAT? What did he find? What's so bad that it could scare Osiris?

* '''Osiris' Reflection''': Behold-- The Infinite Forest! A planet-sized prediction engine, simulating trillions of realities in parallel, all geared toward a single Vex purpose.

''New paths and platforms appear before the Guardian, sprawling across the open space. The Guardian begins on the path to be met by Vex forces.'' 

* '''Sagira''': Vex are simulating reality here, brute-forcing the future. And before you ask: everything in here IS real enough to kill you.

''The Guardian pushes through, opening new gates that create paths that weren't there before.'' 

* '''Sagira''': Sometimes the Forest blocks a path. Eliminate the Daemon controlling the local simulation, and the door should open.

''After fighting through several local simulations, the Guardian again approaches a Vex gateway.''

* '''Osiris' Reflection''': First, I will show you where it all began.

''The Guardian passes through the gateway and into an unknown area.''

* '''Osiris' Reflection''': Mercury, untold centuries ago, before the Vex arrived. Here the Vex planted a seed that became the Infinite Forest-- and its Mind, Panoptes. Panoptes has a single purpose-- to reshape reality for the Vex... and only the Vex. All this started with a single Vex. Will it end with the arrival of a single Guardian?

''As the Reflection speaks, explosions in the distance bloom into Vex structures. The Reflection leads the way, in a sense, to the next small portal where the Guardian finds themselves in a hallway.''
