==Trivia==
*Bastion is the second fusion rifle, [[Linear fusion rifle|linear]] or otherwise, to be in the Kinetic slot, the first being [[Arbalest]].
*Bastion was noted as being a strong Crucible contender in its introductory period to the game. Subsequent balance changes made it fall out of favor, such as decreasing its capacity to be controlled during its triple burst.
*When charging a burst, a dial right below the sight will align a symbol of a pigeon and a symbol of a sun, both will glow the more progress is made, intensifying until they finally align. This might be in reference to [[Saint-14]]'s close bond with [[Osiris]]
