Arbalest acts like a handheld [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railgun railgun] in that it deals high damage and is particularly effective against [[Absorption shield]]s, however it also has a low rate of fire and reload speed. It also has intrinsic anti-barrier properties, allowing the destruction of barrier champion shields without an appropriate seasonal mod.
