'''Abominations''' are large, monstrous [[Scorn]] that have been mutated beyond recognition as a result of excessive resurrections.

==Overview==
Abominations are among the most heavily corrupted Scorn, having been resurrected many times through the use of [[Dark Ether]]. Similar to [[Screeb|Screebs]], they are a distorted, mindless shell of their former selves, due to an apparent physical and psychological toll of which reanimation takes on them. Abominations, much like [[Ravager|Ravagers]], are entirely headless—a large metal cap is affixed to the stump of their neck. As former [[Dreg|Dregs]], they have two stumps below their intact arms, unchanged by their transformation into Scorn.
 
They bear a disturbing resemblance to [[Ogre|Hive Ogres]], both in terms of gameplay mechanics and how they both are a distinct class of mutant entities within their species.

==Gameplay==
Abominations prefer to attack their targets by casting bolts of [[Arc]] [[Ether]] that are capable of inflicting high damage to [[Guardian]] shields from surprisingly long ranges. To engage close-range targets, they slam the ground with arc energy, causing a shockwave that both knocks back and deals massive damage to enemies within its range. These devastating attacks are enforced by the Abomination's sheer mass, providing it with a large pool of health—thus, range and heavy firepower are recommended for engaging with Abominations.
