Bridge the Gate is a public event-style mission. There are 6 tiers of increasing difficulty, and teams engage 3 final Tormentor bosses as a final tier, ending the mission.
History
- Following the heroes' successes in their previous missions from slaying Nezarec, Rhulk, and many others. They now work with Thirhe to follow The Witness into The Pale Heart as the forces of The Witness attempt to stop them.
Gameplay
The party must defeat every enemy that comes in a wave, each wave will send a Tormentor as the wave boss.
- Tier 1 - 4 Tormentors, 80 Taken (Taken Acolytes), 1 Pyramid Goliath
- Tier 2 - 5 Tormentors, 100 Taken (Taken Acolytes), 1 Pyramid Goliath
- Tier 3 - After killing 4 Tormentors, a pair of Taken Wizards will appear at a nearby altar and attempt to disrupt the ritual and are protected by immunity shields. 2 Taken Knight Blades of the Deep will spawn upon party arrival. 6 Tormentors, 120 Taken (Taken Psions)
- Tier 4 - Same as Tier 3 but its two Altars. 7 Tormentors, 140 Taken (Taken Psions), 1 Pyramid Goliath
- Tier 5 - Same as Tier 4 but with three Altars, 8 Tormentors, 160 Taken (Taken Goblins, Taken Acolytes), 1 Pyramid Goliath
- Tier 6 - Same as Tier 5 but with four Altars, 9 Tormentors, 180 Taken (Taken Goblins, Taken Acolytes), 1 Pyramid Goliath
- Tier 7 - Same as Tier 6 but with five Altars, however, 200 Taken are sent forth (Taken Ogres, Taken Acolytes, Taken Goblins, and a Taken Hydra known as Gatecrasher).
- Final Boss - After defeating the Gatecrasher, the Blades of The Witness; Aeraziia, Blade of The Witness, Versaeniia, Blade of The Witness, and Yelixiia, Blade of The Witness drop their immunity and begin their assault alongside a final all-out assault. (Reinforcements will keep coming till the Tormentors are slain.)
Note
- If a Tormentor gets inside the Ritual Chamber, Phlithut and Deimos will have to focus all attention on it, meaning they can't deal with another one or any enemies that enter risking Thirhe's safety.

- Above the mission area is a massive space battle in favor of the Shard Coalition. The enemy forces are losing badly.
- Only the Gatecrasher and the Tormentor Bosses will target the heroes, as all others will prioritize the Orrery of The Wanderer Core
