It feels good to actually have stuff to contribute to the wiki. Basically all I had to do on halopedia was tell everyone to always use the DMR. CraZboy557 (talk) 20:34, 17 February 2013 (EST)

So are we all in agreement on the classes of those guardians in that picture in the gallery? Cause I kinda figured if we weren't certain then maybe we should take down the caption. CraZboy557 (talk) 22:15, 17 February 2013 (EST)

Voice cast.

Do we know the name of the actor/actress who portrays the player character?

Player article

I've been considering this for awhile, but I wanted to run it by other members of the community first. I was thinking of creating an article for the actual player character, something along the lines of "the Guardian" or "Guardian (character)." I bring this up because I feel it would help in writing lore-based entries, since the story of Destiny is more or less structured around a single Guardian driving the story forward. As of House of Wolves, given Petra's ruminations, we can conclude that the overall story is following a set narrative, since she mentions the vanilla game, then how they took out Crota, and now they're coming to the Reef. Basically it's a Dragonborn/Lone Wanderer-type article - something to tie into and provide context for, but keeping the language free of references to gender or species. IMO, it would help in articles to say that "X helped the Guardian" rather than "X helps the player," given that the site otherwise conforms to in-universe writing for lore articles.
