Adventures are a PvE activity that will be introduced in Destiny 2. They are side-missions that can be dispatched to Guardians by free-roaming NPC's in the world.[1] They will be used as a means to impart lore/story.[2]

Destiny 2
Base Game
European Dead Zone
- A New Frontier—explore various facets of the EDZ
- Dark Alliance—"Red Legion Psions are meddling with forces best left alone. Investigate their connection to dark forces in the region."
- Reversing the Polarity—Guardians must work to test a theory proposed by Ikora Rey, through stealing a power core from a crashed Red Legion Goliath Tank and delivering it to a Cabal supply console.
- Poor Reception—Guardians must defend Golden Age machinery from being salvaged by the Fallen.
- Unsafe At Any Speed—Guardians must hunt down a Fallen Pike gang, culminating in a battle against a Fallen Walker.
- A Frame Job—"Travel deep into enemy territory, ambush the Red Legion, and trick them into retaliating against the Fallen."
- Getting Your Hands Dirty—"Seize upon the Taken invasion of the EDZ, direct their assault against the Red Legion, and end it before it gets out of control."
- Stop and Go—Guardians must launch an assault on a Red Legion power plant.
- Anti-Anti Air—Guardians must launch an assault on the Red Legion's anti-air turrets stationed in Firebase Hades.
Nessus
- Invitation from the Emperor—look into mysterious activities by Cabal in favor of a new leader
- Lost Crew—help Failsafe look into the disappearance and fate of two lost crew members of the Exodus Black
- Release—the Vex appear to be capturing Fallen, and the Failsafe wants it stopped.
- Deep Conversation—Guardians must work to gather Vex data.
- Unbreakable—Guardians must repel the Vex's construction efforts on Nessus.
- Exodus Siege—the Guardian must stop a group of Fallen that are preparing to attack Failsafe's mainframe aboard the Exodus Black.
- Hack the Planet—the Guardian must save Failsafe from being held hostage by the Vex.
Io

- Deathless—stop a Hive ritual that threatens to sink the entire Arcology
