The Pit of Decay is dark and foul, only where the darkest rituals of the Hive take place."

The Pit of Decay is a location on the Nephilim. It also lays host to the 6-Player Offensive of the same name.

Background

After the initial defeat of Shin'ra, the Sorrow-Maker at the hands of the Guardians, he would command his greatest servant, Zâtrox, the Necromancer, to marshal and undead army aboard the Nephilim. The mass amount of energy being conducted aboard the ship would bring the eyre of the Guardians to investigate and defeat Zâtrox's undead legions along with the resurrected Sorrow Court members. The activity acts as a prelude to the Shadow's Dawn Dungeon. Along with Hive forces convening in the heart of the Nephilim, Fallen forces of the House of Dusk seek to pillage the secrets of the Pit of Decay and steal the powers of death for themselves.
