Despite allying with Mithrax and the Guardian against Eramis and the Old Crews, Spider often continues to make a profit of the situation or at least makes sure he doesn't come up short, often trying to claim a "share" of the treasure the Guardians acquire from the Old Crews, which angers Mithrax.
